Retail shops or online stores: Which is better for buying kidswear?
We all remember the time when our parents used to take us along for shopping kids-related items—clothes being the most important item! And we would either love what our parents selected for us or we would become stubborn regarding that “one dress” we would set our eyes on and demand that we are going home after buying it or we aren’t. Many times we would also end up going home without buying any clothes!
Now, with the evolution in technology, our life has become much easier. And so has the shopping experience. Now everything being a click away, parents are saved the time of going physically to the store to buy kidswear and can rather shop online at their convenience.
Moreover, the ease of buying products online has also seen buyers shifting to e-platforms to make their purchases. The online kids wear stores also offer the same seamless and comfortable experience that the physical stores offer. And what’s more, many even seem to offer more variety of options than their physical retail counterparts.
However, that being said, it cannot give the human-touch to the shopping experience, which only physical stores offer. And parents would still like the experience of the humble shopkeepers showing them patiently the variety in the clothing products for their children, coming in different styles, patterns and designs; while the shopkeepers try to understand the requirements of the customers.
So, while an online offering will certainly go a long way in making a brand well-known and driving sales, the physical stores will also be there in the near future to complement the online experience, and to the retain the human touch to the shopping experience.
